MembershipNormativeBallot1 Ballot Source for the CDA R2 Reaffirmation Ballot

The Clinical Document Architecture, Release 2 (CDAR2) material that has been presented in this HL7 Version 3 Ballot Site has been removed as a part of the ongoing V3 Ballot Web Site cleanup and in order to assure that implementers fo the standard use the actual Normative Standard, aka the CDA R2 Normative Web Edition. The material that had been presented here was the final ballot version of this material, and did not contain the final corrections or schemas distributed with the final standard.

The CDA R2 Normative Web Edition is available as a free download to HL7 Members on the Clinical Document Architecture Standards page on the HL7 web site. Non-members interested in taking part in this ballot can purchase of copy of the standard in the HL7 Bookstore.

2 Ongoing Project Toward CDA R3

It should be noted that HL7 has an active project with the end goal of producing Release 3 of the Clinical Document Architecture. Those individuals interested in the status of this project are referred to the co-chairs of the Structured Documents Work Group.
