Project Need | Core Principles defines HL7 artifacts at a high level, but does not provide guidance or understanding of the detailed components of those artifacts or how they should be used. Such definition is important to achieve improved quality of HL7 artifacts. There is a stated need for documentation advising on the use of "Terminology Guidance" which drove the creation of this project, and expanding the scope to cover all components of the model seemed sensible to the workgroups. |
