Description | The scope of this project is to develop a Domain Analyses Model for projects sponsored by the Cardiology SIG. The initial scope is Acute Coronary Syndromes; however, it is anticipated the initial scope will be expanded include other areas of interest to the Cardiology SIG in the future. |

Objectives / Deliverables | The objective of this project is to create a Domain Analysis Model representing requirements of the Cardiology SIG. This is expected to support messages, structured documents, profiles, implementation guides and vocabulary needed for this domain. The specific deliverables will include: - DAM Scope Document - Storyboards - Glossary - Use Case (including diagram and text) - Activity Diagrams (clinical activity diagram and business process activity diagram) - Dynamic model - Static model - State Diagram - Clinical Data Content (the represented clinical common data elements (vocabulary, definitions, value domains) |

Misc Notes | July 2011: TSC approved the publication of an Informative document: HL7 Version 3 Domain Analysis Model: Cardiology; Acute Coronary Syndrome, Release 1. This is an “unpublished ballot” from 2008 stemming from the PBSMetrics spreadsheet. 7/7/2008: Originally a Cardiology sponsored project, but moved to CIC with the dissolution of the Cardiology Work Group. Changing sponsor from Cardiology to CIC. Per Brian McCourt: This initial project is just about completed, and a new project scope is in the process of being approved by the CIC for the future work, so will soon have a new project to post. 1/30/2009: Archiving this project as Release 2 of the is project has been submitted and approved by the DESD and TSD. R2 of this project is Project #461. |
