Chief Technology Officer - Wayne Kubick

As HL7's Chief Technology Officer, Wayne R. Kubick is responsible for advancing HL7's mission and strategic plan. He helps to lead HL7 work groups to develop and maintain HL7's product lines. He also serves as a technical advisor, liaison and spokesperson for the organization.

Kubick is an expert advisor and commenter at-large focusing on improving clinical research through technology and data standards. He was formerly Chief Technology Officer for CDISC, where he built upon previous stints as a founding Board member of the CDISC organization, Technical Director and team leader. He has spent the past two decades in a variety of technology-focused roles. Among these, include clinical research and development with BBN Software Products, CIO of Parexel International (a major contract research organization) and a 12 year ride as a senior executive at Lincoln Technologies (which developed advanced data mining and analytics software for clinical study and post-marketing safety data). Mr. Kubick holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
