DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND
CDS Hooks was developed as an open source project to support the integration of remote, user-facing, vendor-agnostic decision support services into an EHR or other clinical health system.
The project has been developed over several years with support from a diverse community including multiple EHR and health system vendors, dozens of clinical decision support service vendors, as well as the Argonaut and DaVinci initiatives.
