This includes guidance on how to represent different kinds of knowledge using Arden Syntax Medical Logic Modules (e.g., alerts/reminders; decision tables; flowcharts; clinical test result monitoring; public health surveillance; etc), including MLM templates and examples. The implementation guide also includes background material and references to the scientific literature in order to place Arden in the context of other approaches to knowledge representation specifically and CDS generally.
