Schemas for CDA Release 1

The informative document presents a set of XML Schemas for the HL7’s Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) Level 1 Release 1 standard to be used as an alternative to the already existing XML 1.0 Document Type Definitions (DTDs). The class of documents validated by these schemas equals the class of documents validated by the DTDs distributed as part of the normative specification.

CDA Release 1 Technical Correction #1 (January 5, 2004)

A technical correction is available for the "XML Schemas for CDA Release 1" in the following ZIP file

• "XML Schemas for CDA Release 1 (23 k ZIP file archive)

This technical correction corrects a problem with importing/including the data types schemas/namespace.
