Multum Information Services leverages XML for their 1800+ patient education leaflets. All documents are natively written in XML and dynamically processed to various formats including HTML. The XML allows for patient specificity. Potential patient specific phrases are denoted using XML, therefore, relevant content areas can be graphically highlighted for a given patient.
